Phillip Island Saturday
Everybody woke up 5 am to heavy rain and thunder.
But the first session was dry, cloudy, and a lot colder than yesterday.
In the beginning of the session Alex was struggling a bit to find the same feeling as
the day before.
In the end he managed to find nearly the same pace as the friday qalifying.
Before the last qalifying we all sat down and analysed what was holding him back.
We got some help from Shaun Clarke at Motologic Ducati, an Australian superbike team.
He and allso Wayne Maxwell one of the fastest Aussies around Phillip Island gave
Alex some usefull help about the secrets of a fast lap.
During the session Alex tried to find someone to follow but it was difficult.
In the end he did a 0,7 sec improvement from first qalifying to the second,
and he did it on his own. His time was 1,36,9
Alex: Im pretty satisfied with my laps but I have still a lot to learn of how to
ride a 600 on this fast big track.
I know what im doing wrong compared to the fastest guys, but it takes time to learn.
For the race I hope to make a good start and improve my laptimes.
My practise starts have been going good ,best was 0-100 on 3,3 sec

Friday Phillip Island
Free practice Friday, we had a completely new chassi setup to try and Alex felt
that it was better right away.
Still he was not happy with things but realised it was more down to himself.
14 th place and 1,38,39 was not good but ok.
For the qalifying we made some small change to improve the stability of the bike, and
it was better and made the bike easyer to ride.
In the end he made a 1,37,6 on a lap with a misstake in honda corner running wide.
And was 14 th in the session.
Alex: Im pretty happy with my laptime and I know what to do for tomorrow.
Thanks to Pontus at Ohlins suspesion, he made a big improvement on my chassi.
Day 2 Phillip Island
Day 2 of the test started well with improvement of the laptimes.
With 1,38.3 Alex was happy, but felt that we need to improve the bike to let him go faster.
However in the afternoon the wind turned and was a lot stronger than in the morning.
This caused big problems for the riders specialy at turn 3, where Alex blew off the track
at 225 km/h, after grasstracking for 200 meters he managed to stop without crashing.
His best lap was a 1,38,4 only 1 rider improved from the morning session.
The team tried some different chassi settings and gearings but still have some work to do.
Alex: My biggest problem is to make the bike holding the line in the fast corners.
When we solve this I think i can improve a lot.

Day 1 Test Phillip Island
Day one of the two day test was tough for the Cresto Guide rider Alexander Lundh.
First time on this fast track, the morning session went well.
Alex enjoyed every lap and was making progress all the time.
In the afternoon session the wind was pretty strong making it difficult to ride.
Alex also suffered a stomac problem and was not feeling well.
He could not improve his laptime, but felt that he is starting to find his way round the track.
The team is confident that we found some improvement in the setting for tomorrow.
And everybody in the team is looking forward for the rest of this test.

Portimao Test
The first Worldchampionship test for Alexander Lundh is completed.
Portimao on the algarve coast offered mixed weather when the first official Supersport and
Superbike test was held 22-24/1.
Alex who never before had been to Park Algar or ridden a Supersport 600 had a lot to learn
and test.
After 3 days and 162 laps (most of all riders) Alex was 11 of the 14 riders in the test.
Fantastic to ride a bike again, I had my right leg in plaster for 12 weeks after the race at Mantorp in the final round of the Swedish championship and haven't ridden for 4 months.
The test went better than expected and I'm looking forward to go to Australia and continue
to develope my riding says Alex.
Alex and the team made good progress the last day and are very pleased with the test.
Next test will be at Phillip Island 21-22/2 the days before the first race of the championship
held at that track.
